Young Roots Care Services has been delivering high-quality, person-centred care and support since 2016. Through our Children’s Home, Supported Accommodation, Step Down Provision and Floating Support services, we provide a seamless pathway of support that promotes stability, wellbeing and successful transitions into adulthood.
We recognise that every young person has unique strengths, experiences and aspirations. Our experienced and dedicated team works collaboratively with local authorities, families and partner agencies to deliver tailored support that is responsive to individual needs and focused on achieving positive outcomes.

Hale End House
Age Group: 10–17 years
Purpose: Supporting children with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD), Learning Disabilities (LD) and mild mental health needs.
Hale End House is a warm, family-style children’s home providing a safe and stable environment where children receive individualised care tailored to their needs. We support young people to develop emotionally, engage in education, build positive relationships and gain the skills and confidence needed for the future.
Bridge End House
Age Group: 16–21 years
Purpose: High-quality supported accommodation for young people preparing for adulthood.
Through personalised support and regular key work sessions, we help young people develop practical life skills, build confidence and work towards education, employment, training and greater independence.
Bateman House
Age Group: 18+ years
Purpose: Step Down Provision for young adults moving into independent living.
We provide tailored support to help individuals sustain their accommodation, develop life skills, access education or employment and make a successful transition into adulthood.
Floating Support
Age Group: 18+ years
Our Floating Support service offers flexible, person-centred support for young adults living independently. We work alongside individuals to help them sustain their tenancy, manage everyday responsibilities, access local services and continue building the confidence and skills needed to live independently.
Our Therapeutic Approach
Our practice is relationship-based, trauma-informed and centred around the individual needs of each young person. By working collaboratively with local authorities, families and partner agencies, we promote stability, emotional wellbeing and positive outcomes, enabling young people to reach their full potential.
